The team at TELUS Digital is seeking Quality Reviewers to serve as the first line of quality review for our global GenAI projects. As a freelance Quality Reviewer, you'll maintain the flexibility of independent contracting while partnering closely with our quality team to ensure project excellence.

The ideal candidate will validate Maker jobs for quality accuracy and adherence to guidelines, provide constructive feedback using the 3A framework, and contribute to various quality initiatives. This role is perfect for agile, detail-oriented professionals who are excited about quality excellence and committed to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Validation: Review and validate Maker jobs for quality accuracy and adherence to project guidelines and performance metrics

  • Provide Feedback: Provide detailed, constructive feedback to Makers using the 3A framework to help improve their overall performance and positively impact data quality

  • Project Understanding: Thoroughly understand project objectives, guidelines, and quality standards to ensure consistent evaluation

  • Quality Initiatives: Assist with various quality initiatives including but not limited to RCA and testing

  • Reporting & Escalation: Deliver regular reports on quality findings and escalate potential issues to the Quality team as needed

  • Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Quality team while maintaining a flexible schedule

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • GenAI Expertise: Experience supporting projects involving large language models, data structures, and generative AI workflows

  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify quality issues and trends

  • Quality Commitment: Excited about and committed to quality excellence

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to provide clear, actionable feedback

  • Collaboration: Ability to work well with others and effectively partner across teams

  • Coachability: Open and receptive to feedback with a growth mindset

  • Agility: Ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs and priorities

  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Availability: Committed to a minimum of 10-20 hours per week as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of GenAI systems, processes, and technologies

  • Experience in quality assurance, testing, or review roles

  • Native US English speaker

  • Strong research and analytical skills to quickly fact-check information

  • STEM and/or Writer experience
